The Lindsey O’Brien Kesling Wishing Tree Foundation is unique, and that’s by design. Our reason for existence is both to honor and continue the work Lindsey began during her short life and also to prevent others from dying the way she did.
Lindsey expressed her love for the arts in many ways — dance, art, music and theater. She encouraged other young people to seize opportunities to create passionate, art-filled lives for themselves. The LOK Wishing Tree Foundation encourages young performing and creative artists to wish, to dream, as a continuance of the work Lindsey began. We fund opportunities that turn young artists’ dreams into reality.
Lindsey left this earth all too soon at the young age of 22 from accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. The LOK Wishing Tree Foundation raises awareness about the dangers of carbon monoxide through a variety of public outreach efforts. We seek to keep young dreamers’ lives safe.
Our young organization has already enjoyed much success in both areas of our mission. Please take a moment to learn about our work through the stories we share here.
